Course Description:
This update focuses on FASB and GASB’s recent activities. Information relevant to independent colleges and universities also applies to foundations supporting public colleges and universities, Current FASB and GASB projects will be discussed focusing primarily on those with upcoming implementation dates. Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to prepare for the impacts of the new standards and take the steps necessary to update their financial reporting practices. No advanced preparation is necessary; however general knowledge of college and university financial reporting is needed.
